New Orleans has acquired WR Ja’Lynn Polk from the Patriots in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick, also receiving a 2028 seventh-rounder in the deal. Polk, a 2024 second-round pick, saw limited success as a rookie in New England but brings size, speed, and upside to the Saints’ WR room. Currently sidelined with a season-ending shoulder injury, Polk will rehab and prepare to make his debut in black and gold next season. Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and Brandin Cooks headline the current corps, but Polk will have every opportunity to carve out a role in 2026. A fresh start in New Orleans could be exactly what he needs.
