Starting the Car ✅ Press the clutch pedal fully before turning the key. ✅ Ensure the gear lever is in neutral (N) before starting. ✅ Turn the ignition key to start the engine. 2. Moving in 1st Gear ✅ Press the clutch fully and shift to 1st gear. ✅ Slowly release the clutch while gently pressing the accelerator. ✅ As the car starts moving, release the clutch completely. 3. Upshifting Gears (1st → 2nd → 3rd → 4th → 5th) 🔹 1st to 2nd Gear Lift off the accelerator, press the clutch fully. Shift to 2nd gear, release the clutch slowly while pressing the accelerator. 🔹 2nd to 3rd Gear Increase speed to around 20-30 km/h. Press clutch, shift to 3rd gear, release clutch smoothly, and apply accelerator. 🔹 3rd to 4th Gear At around 40 km/h, repeat the process: Press clutch, shift to 4th gear, and gradually release the clutch while pressing the accelerator. 🔹 4th to 5th Gear At around 50-60 km/h, shift to 5th gear for better mileage. 4. Accelerator Pedal Use ✅ Press gently in lower gears, increase pressure in higher gears. ✅ Avoid pressing too hard in 1st gear to prevent jerks. ✅ In traffic, use slight accelerator inputs to control speed. 5. Downshifting (5th → 1st Gear) 🔹 When slowing down: Lift foot off the accelerator. Press clutch fully. Shift to a lower gear as per speed: 5th to 4th (at 50 km/h) 4th to 3rd (at 30-40 km/h) 3rd to 2nd (at 20-30 km/h) 2nd to 1st (at 10-15 km/h, only if needed) Release the clutch smoothly while pressing the accelerator slightly. 6. Stopping the Car ✅ Release accelerator, press clutch fully, and shift to neutral. ✅ Press the brake pedal gradually until the car stops. ✅ Keep clutch pressed if stopping in 1st gear to avoid engine stall.
